They will leave the 2 hour workshop knowing: how to set up a marbling bath, prepare fabrics, the best inks and materials to use, and different patterning techniques. With a focus on western-style marbling, students will gain the technical understanding needed to make beautiful one-of-a-kind textiles.

Join Cassidy from Radiate Happy for an introduction to meditation and mindfulness, along with the chance to try Muse headbands. Muse headbands use EEG technology to measure brainwave activity during meditation, allowing real-time feedback on your meditation practise. Beginners are welcomed, as we discuss the different types of meditation, how to meditate, when to meditate, and more.

Rest + Restore with Conscious Yogi

 

This class encourages you to move from a state of Doing to a state of Being by exploring a series of long-held, passive floor postures using blankets and blocks to support the body. This support gives the body and nervous system feedback that it's okay to relax and shift from Fight or Flight mode to a state of Rest and Digest. 

This is a gentle, meditative style of yoga that is open to all ages and levels.

Note: This session is $5 (please bring cash to be collected in class)
