Fitness by Jacflash is thrilled to launch our new Women’s Power Yoga Workshop series with lululemon Toronto (@lululemonto). Our first workshop on self love will feature yoga instructor Kay Ghajar and personal development coach Leyla Bagheri.
Tuesday, February 5th 8-9:30pm at lululemon the attic, 318 Queen Street W. Meet downstairs at lululemon and we will walk up together.
Street parking is available on Queen Street W, Spadina Ave, and a parking lot at 189 Spadina Ave.
Yoga mats are provided for the evening by lululemon. All you need to bring is comfy clothes and a water bottle.

Kay Ghajar (@kayghajar) has been practicing yoga for 10 years. She began exploring different styles of yoga after taking courses in positive psychology, which informed on the benefits of yoga and meditation. After she faced a traumatic life event in university and failed progression through traditional counselling, she started a yoga and mindfulness practice, which began her healing process and changed her outlook on life.
Kay received her 200-hour teaching certificate at Power Yoga Canada and has completed trainings in corporate and private yoga, hands-on assisting, and yoga for children battling chronic illnesses. She is also a Level I Fascial Stretch Therapist and has received her Master's of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour where she conducted developmental neuroscience research for youth with mental illness and probiotic research for adults battling depression and anxiety. As a yoga teacher, she connects with her students in a fun and enthusiastic style that makes everyone feel welcome and accepted. Whether you are a beginner or advanced student of yoga, you will feel comfortable expressing yourself and learn about the foundation of each pose, different forms of breath work, and how to give your body what it needs in the moment.
Leyla Bagheri (@leylabgh) will share on the importance of your story and how to re-write it powerfully, in a way that promotes self-love. Sharing from her personal journey, she demonstrates how we can rewrite our stories and fall in love with ourselves no matter what we’ve gone through or continue to go through. We will do a series of exercises that will challenge some of the disempowering ways we view ourselves that holds us from loving ourselves unconditionally. You will gain clarity on who you are underneath the noise of past experiences and societal expectations, and feel more connected with yourself. You will awaken unconditional love with this new found knowledge, just in time for Valentines Day!
Leyla Bagheri is a personal development life coach and the founder of Towards a Life Worth Living, designed to empower individuals through courses, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to get clear, feel empowered, and in control of their lives no matter their current situation. After going through many adversities in her personal life, she has dedicated her life to helping others overcome theirs. Leyla has been involved in psychology research for more than 8 years, focusing on factors that contribute to well-being, motivation, and enhanced performance. After obtaining her Masters degree in Psychology, she became specially interested in the role of basic psychological needs and the importance of personal, social and emotional skills in different areas of life. She has presented her research in 7 international psychology conferences, and is currently in the process of publishing. She also leads a research team at an international organization working towards integrating personal, social and emotional learning into the mainstream education system, for young children to have a steady foundation for life and to promote responsible citizenship. Writing reports to policy makers and stakeholders in Canada and 13 other countries, she ultimately aims to contribute to a world with no unnecessary suffering.
