Meditation is a practice; a means of bringing us towards being open and curious; a pathway to being in touch with our feelings, perceptions, habits, patterns, fears and beliefs – so that we can quiet the mind, step out of story and find the places of calm in our busy lives.
Over the course of four weeks, we will explore concepts, practices, and tools for mediation and mindfulness, promoting a greater connection to ourselves and creating more peace with our inner and outer worlds.
These classes will provide information and guidance for practice in an effort to support and strengthen our own resiliency, as well as to create discussion and momentum around what it means to be open to discovering what lies beyond what we already know.
Sessions will consist of quiet practice in a group setting, as well as short, guided discussion periods. All levels welcome.
