Amber is currently a Firefighter for Central York Fire Dept. Prior to firefighting, she played Division 1 Women's Hockey at Ohio State and following her graduation, the Fitness and Sports Supervisor with the Canadian Forces.
She currently competes in the Fire Combat Challenges and holds the record as the most victorious athlete (19 Gold Medals) who has ever competed on the World stage. She is also the first female to break the 2 minute course mark with the current world record of 1:54 min. Amber looks to defend her 2016 Fire Combat World Championship this year.
She is also the founder of Fit by Fire, a program that shares her knowledge of functional fitness and overall health. Her vision is to help others acheive their goals and push them through their mental and physical challenges.

Played professional indoor volleyball in Germany and then transitioned to the beach where she played worldwide for close to 10 years. Monika played Division 1 volleyball at the University of Tulsa. Was a NSCA All American and achieved Western Athletic Conference honours while achieving a degree in BioChemistry.
After retirement Monika spent some time working in corporate business development and sales. She is ceritified personal performance trainer for over 12 years, and also certified in fundamental nutrition. Between having her 2 kids Jordan (5) and Mila (2) she decided to reignite her passion for the health sciences and biomechanics with human function.
She co-founded UFirst Wellness with the mission to help busy, active women be the catalyst in the own self care, to re-energize, find the time and thrive in what matters to them.
Louis is an University of Toronto graduate that is currently in his 10th year as a career firefighter in his hometown of Hamilton. His first year on the job he joined the Hamilton Combat Challenge Team where he fell in love with the sport and dedicated himself over the next few years to be the best of the best. “I am not as big and strong as most guys I compete against, but it is my mental game that strives me past that”.
In 2012 Louis won the World title in Tandom. 2013, 2014, 2015 a National Title in Individual and another World Championship in 2015. The highlight of his career came in March 2016 when won the Abu Dhabi UAE competition.
Louis is also a certified Crossfit Trainer, who has a goal is to inspire men and women in service to be fit and healthy! Health, fitness, nutrition and teaching others to have the mental resilane to strive past what they think they are capable of are the core of his mission.
