Stress is a modern-day phenomenon that we all experience at one point or another, if not everyday. ‘Stress’ carries a negative connotation, but it isn’t all bad - you can use it as motivation to move forward in life, and physically, you place stress on your muscles in order for them to develop and grow. Knowing how much stress to take on before it becomes overwhelming is a skill we are all refining. Thankfully, the yoga practice gives you the time and space to de-stress, and provides you with the tools to help manage stress.
In this evening master class, Bruce will guide you through a practice that will focus on releasing tension and stress in your hips, shoulders, and lower back. The class will be part vinyasa and part yin, giving you an opportunity to move your body dynamically, but also allowing it to be in stillness. Be prepared to work physically and mentally, knowing that you will leave feeling lighter and (mostly) free of stress.
